What the project is about:

The project is about examining the economic impact of CHILD-BRIGHT interventions from the perspective of society, provincial payers and families. To this end following steps are taken:

  • Development of evaluation capacity for economic evaluation within CHILD-BRIGHT.

  • Development of a communications strategy.

  • Implementation and data collection for economic evaluation of CHILD-BRIGHT research.

  • Drafting of a background paper examining key emerging issues and challenges for economic evaluation in the field of disability.

  • Assessment of the applicability of the Heckman equation to developmental disability (contingent on budget).
